BERTRAM KOBER - KULPOCHE
or the blue of the distance
The photographies of the cycle KULPOCHE developed within a relatively long period. Biographically seen, they describe the time interval between the first picture results of the Leipziger photograph student up to the recent work as a freelance photographer. Already early, also in the work to the study conclusion, its visual interest in current handling traces of the past, particularly for often devastating going around with historical interior decoration, showed up with valuable built volumes at all. There is excluding Interieurs, which came into the picture, coverings of temporary security, in addition, places, which were thought and conceived as passage situation of anonymous peoples. The altars of the privacy in publicly defined areas, the pin walls and poster promise emergency exits and escape windows from the everyday life.
Carefully regarded, Microdramen in the pictures, whose tragic and at the same time pitiful dimension is out of question, unfold.
