The naked body is one of the oldest and most fascinating themes in the visual arts. While artists of earlier centuries in the representation of the unclothed body to the conventions of the ideally beautiful were required, they blew in the 20th century, more and more the traditional academic poses. The term "act" is in the 20th century for the entire breadth of artistic depictions of the naked body of naturalistic representation to "body image consciousness," of the certainty of one's body to the transgressive experiment. The life-like body in contemporary art for the projection of the artistic idea: With his needs and instincts, he moves relentlessly open, he will be a cipher for the man himself.
